Nordco Rail Services
Nordco Rail Services is the leading provider of "predictive rail management" services to railroads, contractors and others in the railroad industry. Nordco Rail Services inspects rail for invisible flaws, giving railroads time to correct minute defects before they become serious, potentially catastrophic, problems.
Detecting small flaws, preventing big problems
Nordco Rail Services technicians ride the rails in specially outfitted inspection vehicles incorporating sensitive ultrasonic detection equipment. The ultrasonic signal "sees" inside the rail, while proprietary software programs help analyze the data to recognize cracks, flaws and other conditions. We know that state-of-the-art technology is important. However, effective, efficient rail inspection requires more than just machines and computers. Our technicians have years of experience in all aspects of ultrasonic rail inspection, and understand that the integrity of the rail is a critical element in the operation of a railroad.
